I am tired!
I promised to update my blog from the HRTE-class and from my competition-training with Amy Becker. The fact is, I haven't had the time. I have been out of the door at 06.30-08.00 and been back again late at night. This is the first day I have had time at my room, and I am so tired I am having problems with writing. Sorry. I will update/uploade pictures tomorrow. I don't have any plans for tomorrow, other than that I am leaving. It's been an AMAZING week, but I can't wait to get home to my family and my bed. But before that, I will have one night at the hotel and one night at an airplane... Lucky me...:)

My first day at the HRTE-class
WOW! What a day!
If you EVER get the chance to go to a HRTE-class, do it! It's well worth the money!
In the morning we were put in small groups of 4. There were 7 "stations" with one educator at each. We had 45-60 min. at each station. We had demos of everything, nail-art, form-fitting, sculpting with forms/gel/l/p, airbrush, Minxing, gel-toes... It was a very good experience to get to speak with the educator in a small group.
What really surprised me was that I came to this event mainly to learn more about gel and l/p for competition and everyday salon-nails, but I found it very interesting to hear and learn about airbrushing and Minxing.
Well, I could write more about this day, but my head is spinning around and... we are going to meet again tonight for some practicing....:-D Dedicated nailtechs....:-D
The class for tomorrow will be "hands-on" training. We all bring our own products and practice at each-other while the educators will be helping. I CAN'T wait for this!!!
PS. Norwegian milk-chocolate has always made me friends! :-D

HRTE Chicago - here I come!
I am now at Kastrup airport in Copenhagen, waiting for my flight to Chicago. I am going to attend the HRTE-class in Chicago at Sunday and Monday. I have never been to this class before, but I have heard it is great. It's independent, not arranged by a supplier, and there will be educators from lots of suppliers. I am going by my own from Norway, in fact, from Europe too. I hope it will be possible to arrange something similar here.
Originally I was going for competition training with one of the best gel-techs in the world, Amy Becker. Luckily I found out that the HRTE-class in Chicago was held at the same time as I had planned to go to Amy. Now I will attend the HRTE-class first and then go to Amy for some days after the class.
I am sure this week is going to be some of the best weeks in my "nail-life"!
